Quality
Sugilite-Fluorite is a combination of two distinctly identifiable minerals: Sugilite and Fluorite, with properties of both gemstones. Therapeutic-quality gems are high-graded to display a range of clearly defined lavender to purple colors. Colored lines, or banding, which are characteristic of Fluorite, appear in many of the gemstones. Some are a solid purple and may represent a higher percentage of Sugilite.
The gem ranges from translucent to opaque, likely depending on the percentage of Fluorite present in the individual beads. So each necklace will be unique.
Sugilite-Fluorite & Blue Sapphire necklaces display a graduation of color frequencies with dark purple spheres in the center. The color is smoothly graduated to lighter shades in the back.
Due to their unique nature and wide range of physical appearance, we grade Sugilite-Fluorite necklaces with an overall rating based on their color and clarity.
