There’s always something new to learn about the gemstones, the body’s energies, and also about yourself. The gemstones enrich your life as they nourish, clear, and awaken; supporting you as you learn the gemstone healing arts to support others.
It’s also a LOT of fun working with the gemstones and meeting like-hearted people!
How it Works
Those interested in the practitioner track start with Level 1 courses that provide enough Gemstone Therapy training to start or embellish your healing arts practice. It can take at least six months to complete.
Level 2 training requires study, practice, and proficiency. It’s a two-year program and includes criteria such as 100 practice sessions. Those who complete the curriculum earn full practitioner certification and the credentials GTP. Advanced training is also available.

FAQs for Gemstone Therapy Training
Can you take the GEM 101 class without having to become a practitioner?
Yes! You are welcome to attend GEM 101 in-person workshop just to experience the healing effects of the gemstones. No purchase is required.
How long does it take to become gemstone certified?
The Gemstone Level 1 (Associate Practitioner) program can be completed in about six months. Level 2 (credentialed Gemstone Therapy Practitioner) takes about two years.
What are the minimum tools required?
For Level 1 certification you’ll need 12 gemstone tools:
- One 30”/24” Foundation Five Necklace Set (five necklaces).
- White Beryl & Turquoise tool (bracelet is fine, but necklace is recommended).
- Six aura-nourishing gemstone tools (single spheres, bracelets, or necklaces).
- Set of aura clearing sprays: Energy Clearing, Electromagnetic Radiation Clearing, 7-Color-Ray Diamond, Body Wisdom, and Core Alignment.
What is the cost of the gemstones needed to become certified?
The cost for Level 1 gemstone certification varies depending on the type of tools you want. Estimated tools can cost a minimum of $3795 if you get mostly gem packs, about $5294 if you get mostly bracelets, and around $10,825 and up, if you get mostly necklaces.
Do I have to take an in-person workshop or are there online gemstone classes?
You can study for Gemstone Therapy Associate Practitioner certification either online or in person. You are welcome to contact us to schedule a private in-person workshop (minimum of 4 students).
Can I use gemstones in addition to my regular energy work?
Yes, we have practitioners who incorporate gemstones into their energy work and physical manipulation practices. We have practitioners who are also chiropractors, energy workers, naturopaths, physical therapists, massage therapists, and Rolfers, among others, who find that the addition of Gemstone Therapy benefits their patients.
Does my gemstone training with other schools count toward GTI certification?
The training you may have received elsewhere can give you a good foundation, support your understanding, and help you learn our methods more quickly. But our curriculum is the most advanced that you’ll find anywhere, so other training does not count toward our gemstone practitioner certification.
Is there a fast-track program?
Once you’ve attended the workshop or taken the online courses, your progress through the program depends on your dedication and commitment to completing the requirements. We have no fast-track program per se, but you do study at your own pace.
I already have lots of crystals and gems. Can I use those?
We love all crystals, clusters, and gemstones. They are gifts of the Earth. We work exclusively with sphere or rondel gemstones that meet strict quality standards. You are welcome to send yours in for upgrading. This is a special service we offer that includes adding symbiotic gemstones and doing a thorough cleansing.
Are your gemstone courses accredited?
Those who successfully complete the program are awarded a certificate, not a license. Some states have laws governing who can legally touch others for therapeutic purposes. Gemstone Therapy does not involve touch. Gemstone Therapy is a safe modality with no risk of harm to the client.
Gemstone Therapy Course Guarantee
We are sure that you will love the results, value, and information you get from our Gemstone Therapy courses. But if not, course fees for in-person events are refundable outside 30 days of the start date of the event, minus a $95 non-refundable deposit. If circumstances outside your control prevent your attendance at the event please give us a call to see if a special exception may apply. Introductory and Level 1 online course registration fees are fully refundable for 30 days. Level 2 and above online course fees are non refundable.
Gemstone Therapy training is for those who:
- Love the Earth and appreciate the healing potential of gemstones.
- Understand that true healing involves more than physical changes.
- Respect the unseen energies that contribute to health and well being.
- Are open-minded and eager to explore themselves as energetic beings.
- Are able to make at least a modest investment in their gemstone tool kit.
The training is not for those who:
- Want to heal with their hands. (Gemstone Therapy is a no-touch, permission-based modality, based on high ethics. Gems are mostly applied in the aura, and may be placed on the body, but practitioners do not touch their clients directly.)
- Prefer to work with raw crystals. (Except for crystal clusters that can uplift a room, client applications are exclusively gemstone spheres and rondels.)
- Expect Gemstone Therapy certification in a weekend. (The depth of the information available requires ongoing study and practice.)
