When people ask me, “Is my diamond ring therapeutic?” and I only have time for a short answer, I’ll say something like, “If you love it and it brings you joy, then yes.”

This is what’s most important. Especially in our culture, where diamonds have come to symbolize love.

From my experience, people who have had the opportunity to choose their diamonds among a batch of loose stones tend to intuitively steer away from the disharmonious ones.

Since only about two to three percent of diamonds are therapeutic, it’s unlikely they’ll see a batch of stones large enough to include one that carries color rays, but they might get lucky. Most likely they’ll choose a stone that’s energetically neutral, meaning the energies it carries neither hurt nor help.

It’s important to ensure that the diamond you’re wearing is energetically safe, because when you wear a diamond ring, its energies radiate into your body and aura to affect you physically, emotionally, and mentally.

The same is true for diamond energy. It doesn’t matter how sensitive or how aware you are; a diamond’s energy will impact you whether you believe in it or not.

Understandably, you may be concerned that the diamond ring you got years ago could be radiating energies that are potentially detrimental.

Fortunately, only about three percent of diamonds carry energies that I would consider harmful.

As I already mentioned, another three percent carry a color-ray spectrum, which qualifies them as therapeutic. This means over ninety percent of jewelry diamonds are considered neutral; they aren’t therapeutic, but they aren’t harmful either.

Here’s a simple way to determine what kind of diamond you have. See how many of the following statements apply to you. The more that do, the more likely it is that the diamond in your ring is either neutral or carries color rays.

If that doesn’t sound like you, here’s another checklist to help you find out if your diamond may be among the 2-3% that carry disharmonious energy.

Clues Your Diamond is Non-Therapeutic and Harmful

Does this describe you?

You find yourself unconsciously finding reasons to take off the ring. You might remove it when washing dishes, taking a shower, gardening, typing, cleaning, and sleeping. Many people do wear their rings during these activities, but you’ve found a sound, logical reason not to. When you really think about it, you realize that despite how beautiful the ring is, you don’t wear it all that often. Some days, you forget to wear it at all.

Unfortunately, if the ring was given for an engagement or marriage, some people might consider not wanting to wear the ring as a sign that there’s something wrong with the relationship.

But it’s not the relationship. It’s the diamond.

See how many of the following statements applied to you as soon as you started wearing the ring or within the next few days. If you can link just one to the day you began wearing the ring, you are right to question the diamond’s integrity.

Taking off the ring may help to ease these symptoms a little. But any damage to your energy field produced by the diamond can only be fully corrected with the help of another diamond. You may need an appointment with a Diamond Therapy Practitioner, who can use true seven-color-ray-bearing Therapy Diamonds to help clear your field of the non-therapeutic diamond’s energy and repair the damage it may have caused.

What to Do If You Suspect Your Diamond Ring is Non-Therapeutic

The solution is something you may already be doing—again subconsciously:

Stop cleaning your diamond ring.

I realize this goes against everything you hear about proper diamond care. But if you want to continue wearing your ring, this is how to do so safely.

Here’s why it matters. Diamonds naturally collect oils and grease. These include your natural body oils as well as lotions. Dirt tends to get stuck in these oils, and over a short period of time, the diamond loses its sparkle.

This is why jewelers recommend cleaning your diamond ring regularly with a toothbrush, and soap and water.

More light can pass through a diamond when it’s clean, and more of its energies can radiate from it.

If you doubt that your ring has a therapeutic diamond, cleanse it less often. The accumulated oils and dirt will actually be beneficial, as they can minimize the amount of energy the diamond can broadcast into your body and aura.

Conversely, if you wear a Therapy Diamond ring, you want to keep it as clean as possible in order to receive the maximum benefit from it. This is why we suggest cleaning it daily.
