The Tranquility necklace consists of Blue Chalcedony, Blue Sapphire, and Blue Topaz. When you wear this necklace, the gemstone energies soothe, relax, and nourish your mind. This can help you find peace from stress while also enhancing mental focus and stimulating a greater flow of creative thought. In addition, these gems highlight mental blockages so that you can identify their true nature and work to dissolve them. Because the mind is involved with physical manifestation, this necklace can also help you locate and identify the nature of blockages in your body so that you can work on letting them go.
Blue Chalcedony
Blue Chalcedony energy is calming, particularly for the mind. It releases mental stress and quiets busy thoughts by encouraging mental energies to settle. The gem settles energies by attaching its frequencies to thoughts. Negative thoughts receive the greatest amount and settle first, like the heaviest particles in a jar of pond water. Thoughts that conflict with our higher truth settle next, followed by random thoughts of minor consequence. Once the thoughts are settled, the mind is able to rest. It is no longer plagued by agitation spurred by negativity. Settled thoughts are also more organized, which allows for clearer thinking.
Blue Sapphire
Blue Sapphire nourishes, vitalizes, and clears the mind, and enhances creative outflow. The gemstone does this by organizing pathways and channels of thought so they become more even and regular. The key to the gem’s effectiveness is the blue color ray that it carries. The blue ray has an affinity with the mental body. Blue Sapphire’s blue ray is calming, yet a well-nourished mind can spring into action when necessary. When you wear Blue Sapphire, either with White Beryl, or in the Tranquility design, its energy reaches into the far corners of your mind to help you find fresh ways of thinking and perceiving.
Blue Topaz
Blue Topaz opens the boundaries of blocked areas, or containment fields, wherever they may be. In the Tranquility necklace, the Blue Topaz energy is directed toward the mind. It helps the mind to overcome blockages caused by rigid concepts and opinions, in order to receive nourishment and release stored toxins.
The Blue Color Ray
Symbiotic Blue Sapphire and Blue Topaz work together to nourish the mind with the blue color ray, which consists of the blue-frequency of both light and sound. Blue Sapphire supplies the dark to medium blue frequencies and Blue Topaz supplies a relatively narrow band of the light blue.
Blue Topaz identifies areas that resist the blue ray and dissolves the borders that surround these areas. Stored mental energies such as negative thoughts and limiting beliefs can then be released. In their place, Blue Sapphire’s nourishing blue light and sound enters to purify these areas. New, higher, and more refined thinking inevitably follows.
What Happens When You Wear Tranquility
When you first wear Tranquility, you may find it difficult to multitask or focus on certain mental tasks. This is due to the relaxing nature of the Tranquility gems and it may mean that the mind is releasing unwanted energies. Use the Energy Clearing Spray by spraying overhead and allowing the mist to rain down upon you. Squirt three to five times.
In time, your mental energies will become more organized, and you should find that you’re better able to focus on one activity at a time without becoming distracted. When you need to multi-task, you’re able to switch your full attention from one activity to the next without becoming drained by giving partial attention to more than one thing at a time. At the end of the day, it becomes easier to rest and put aside everything that calls your attention. You begin to realize that you are where you need to be in the moment, and that everything that calls your attention now can be attended to later, when you’re more refreshed.

How to Use
Tranquility is a member of the aura-nourishing gemstone collection. You can enjoy its benefits by wearing it as a necklace, but it is particularly effective when wrapped on a therapy wand and applied in the aura.
When You First Receive These Gemstones
Try wearing them at the end of the day when your body and mind are free to relax. Over time, you may find you can wear Tranquility more often during the day. Eventually, you may find it to be an invaluable tool for helping your mind to stay clear and alert. Wear the necklace for longer periods of time as you feel comfortable doing so. Experiment freely in taking it to bed with you at night.
Over Time
After you’ve been working with Tranquility for some time, your mind will become accustomed to its effects. When you put it on, your mind more quickly becomes peaceful. Thoughts slow down and may even seem to pause for a while as they become more organized and the mental fogginess dissipates. If you put the necklace on in the morning, by the time you get to work your mind should be able to function more clearly and with greater focus. You might also notice that when you are mentally tired, wearing this necklace will help you relax. If you absolutely need to stay awake and push through the mental tiredness, remove the necklace. Otherwise, if you have time for a nap, continue to wear Tranquility for a more rejuvenating rest.
Body Placements
Hold the necklace in a bunch in one hand and then place it on an area of your body that needs some help. Pay attention to your thoughts. Those thoughts that arise are likely associated with the chosen location. Let the gems’ energies work with the corresponding mental-body fabric of the target area while you contemplate how you can resolve the issue your thoughts have identified. Spinal Massage
Tranquility can be applied to the spine to reduce nervous system stress and increase nourishment. This is a therapy you’ll have to receive from, or give to, someone else. Wrap the necklace around your fingers and hold it firmly but loosely. Glide the gemstones along the person’s back, preferably but not necessarily against the skin. Start at a location you identify with a circling movement. Then use a combination of meridian running, striping, touching, and figure-eight movements, as the person’s energy field prefers. You may circle in for new locations to work on.

To develop the GEMFormulas’ necklaces, Isabelle consults with her Gemstone Therapy teachers in the higher planes or the gemstone guardians in charge of the gemstones used. Here, Isabelle shares some of her personal experiences behind the scenes in the development of this necklace.

My experience with Blue Chalcedony began in 2010 when I discovered it was the symbiotic gemstone for Mother of Pearl. In early 2011, Blue Chalcedony began to appear with Blue Sapphire in the remote gemstone therapy sessions that I give. The gems were clearly nourishing and relaxing the mental body of my clients. At first, I didn’t connect the two gems. I assumed Blue Chalcedony was simply helping the mind relax, and Blue Sapphire was there independently to nourish it with the blue color ray.
In a conversation with one of my gemstone suppliers, I casually asked about Blue Chalcedony spheres. I forgot about our conversation until, about 9 months later, a package of 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm Blue Chalcedony spheres arrived unexpectedly. My cutter had begun a search for top quality Blue Chalcedony, successfully found it, and cut them for me.
Obviously, the Universe was saying it was time to release this necklace.
I strung it with two Blue Sapphires and began experimenting on myself. But wearing it was tough. The necklace’s energies just weren’t coming in and I couldn’t sleep with it nearby.
At about the same time—in an incident that I thought was unrelated—another supplier sent a parcel of Blue Topaz. I do not recall the dreams that must have prompted me to combine these 3 gemstones together. I just remember the morning I woke up and knew it had to be done.
Fast forward to an inner-world meeting I finally had with the Guardian of Blue Chalcedony. It was the first conversation with him that I consciously remember. He is a quiet, soft-spoken man who radiates kindness. His many-folded robes of fabric in blue chalcedony color, drape like falling water over his plump round body. Listening to him was like listening to music.
“I have been trying to contact you for a long time but your mind has been too busy on other things,” he said. He was emanating too much compassion for me to feel guilty, but I took careful note to pay more attention in the future. He continued, “So, the gemstone council and I worked without your conscious knowledge to make available the gemstones you’d need for the Tranquility necklace.”
So the arrival of the Blue Chalcedony and Blue Topaz wasn’t coincidental.
He continued, “You now have nearly a full set of the subtle-body nourishing necklaces: Core Four for the physical body, White Flash Moonstone/Emerald for the supraphysical, HeartSong for the emotional, Golden Eagle for the causal, and now Tranquility for the mental body.
“Those who cherish their mental opinions and delight in busy thinking may resist this necklace’s effects. They many recognize their need for Tranquility, but when they try to wear it, they feel uncomfortable. They should instead keep it nearby and it will work more gently in their aura. Or they may hold it on painful areas or ask someone to rub the necklace along their spine. This can soften tension in the nervous system put there by mental pressures.”
The back of my neck was feeling stiff so I bunched the Tranquility necklace and held it there.
“You’d be surprised how much pain is self induced. When rigid thoughts clash against a greater truth the physical body suffers. So, play freely with this necklace by holding it on areas of concern and watch what thoughts arise. They are likely associated with the pain in some way.
“You probably won’t recognize that your thoughts have drifted to a topic until you’ve spent some time thinking about it. When you do become aware of the thoughts, take note of them. Know that their subject matter could use further contemplation. There’s something about the subject that stresses you, because you aren’t yet seeing the whole picture. Or at the other end of the spectrum of possibilities, what you’re thinking about is actually misguided or wrong. Be kind to yourself in this process. Invite a new viewpoint. In the state of tranquility you’ll feel okay about the possibility a new viewpoint may loom at the horizon and okay that the one you presently hold may become outdated. You’ll also be okay to let go this viewpoint and openly accept the new one when it comes. This is what it means to surrender.”
After I’d placed the necklace on my neck, I noticed a period of mental peace. My mind seemed almost blank. The next thing I knew, my mind had drifted and landed on a particular subject.
I couldn’t believe I had a rigid or outdated opinion about the topic—let alone that I might actually be wrong about it.
“It isn’t easy to admit that our thoughts fall short of their highest potential,” he explained. “It helps to know there’s always a greater truth. Every thought can morph into a freer, more expansive one.”
He let me consider this and then asked, “Is the pain in your neck better?”
“Yes.”
“If the pain abates with placement, then the gems’ energies were able to soften, melt, and disperse the associated mental blockages, which were the primary cause of the pain. You don’t necessarily need to know what exactly these blockages were about. If the pain doesn’t go away and you’ve identified the topic of the thoughts associated with it, then it’s wise to keep silent before making decisions or taking actions on it. Give yourself time to process the thoughts, and invite your viewpoint to rise higher and expand.”
We then spoke about much of the content in this webpage. He left me with the following:
“In general, there are two types of mental activity, which can be illustrated with a line and a circle. A line represents thoughts moving in a creative flow. They originate at the highest levels of your mind and flow downward until you manifest them in words and actions. Such thoughts are fresh and nourish the mind. A circle represents thoughts that circulate about a particular topic. These thoughts are concentrated and focused, and can manifest as viewpoints, attitudes, opinions, and concepts. Thought-circles can grow by accumulating more thoughts, and they may turn so that you see these thoughts from different angles, but the circles are otherwise fixed.
“We break out of a circle of thought when another thought comes to us that doesn’t fit inside the circle. We suddenly see how to resolve, improve, or let go the situation the thought-circle describes. The circle opens and transforms into a line. Then we are mentally free.
“The healing gems in Tranquility help us open circles of thoughts so they can flow freely once again.”

I love my Tranquility necklace. It is everything that GEMFormulas says it is! The colors are so amazingly beautiful that the necklace soothes the mind and eyes just looking at it. Everyday tasks in society are becoming increasingly more complicated. There are more and more apps, confusing administration being outsourced to the customer, and social demands of urgency and immediate answers to email, texts, etc. Not to mention all kinds of toxic mental activity being projected out in the news and in polarized social disharmony. All of this is very mentally taxing, and the alternative is setting boundries which can also cost energy to reinforce. Boundries also can get worn down and breached as soon as one is depleted enough. When my brain is overworked, Tranquility calms the overstimulation and helps me retain boundries on the mental level. It helps me focus on what is actually important.
