How Intuition Works
Intuitive guidance does not come by chance. You are designed for it just as you are hardwired to think, feel, and remember. Intuition originates from the outermost layer of the aura (or the deepest, depending on your viewpoint). This layer, sometimes called the subconscious, is adjacent to your highest self, your spiritual essence, which knows everything these is to know about you. It knows your past and future and lessons you need to gain from your present incarnation. It knows where you should be and when for best protection, meeting the right people, and opportunity for service.
The intuitive layer acts as a translator. It communicates this knowing to the mind. Because the mind can interrupt the flow of this information, a network of energetic channels exists through the aura and brow chakra that allow the body to receive it directly. These channels pass the heart and then spread throughout the body. Through these channels, your intuition passes like electrical impulses.
While intuitive impulses should originate at the highest levels and be for your highest good, these channels do run past your heart, which acts as an approval system. If an intuitive impulse does not come from the highest levels and would lead you to do something you don’t want to do, or if it would be out of line with your nature or beliefs, your heart governor will squelch it. However, if the heart deems the impulse to be constructive and helpful, it might even give it an extra boost.
How Charoite & Indigo Supports Intuition
Charoite energy is both expanding and settling. This may sound counterintuitive, but think about a large oak tree: its roots reach into the earth to provide grounding, and its branches reach for the sky in an expansive way. Likewise, when Charoite & Indigo is worn, its energies reach into your body like roots and expand throughout your aura like tree branches.
The paths that these “roots” and “branches” take are already there—they are the pathways that intuitive impulses take through the aura, to the brow chakra, and into the body. Charoite & Indigo also has an affinity with the brow chakra. When “Intuition” Goes Wrong
There is the case when people feel “guided” to do and say negative and hurtful things—even when they don’t want to or know it is wrong. While there are several energetic reasons why this can occur, one is that the intuitive channels that should branch throughout the aura don’t reach all the way to the intuitive layer. They are broken, blocked, or skewed. The information they convey comes from lower levels of the mind and emotions. These areas cannot be trusted to provide information of the highest good. Instead, they tend to be reactive and karma driven. Following this “guidance”–doing and saying things against your best judgment–creates karma. Following true guidance from your highest self helps you resolve it.

I used to sit and stare at the Charoite & Indigo necklaces thinking how beautiful they were and wishing I had one. I really didn’t have any gemstone tools for intuition. I finally got one! I wore it briefly, but my knee started hurting really bad. Then I remembered seeing Isabelle in one of her videos…she said you could ponder a question or problem and really focus on it in your mind, then take a couple beads of Charoite up to your third eye and just hold them there for a few minutes. Sometimes the answer came rather quickly, and sometimes I would remove the necklace and later in the day I would intuitively know the answer, like I had always known it. Since I can’t wear the Charoite & Indigo necklace all the time, its wonderful to have this technique for little problems or questions that pop up. Charoite is so beautiful and is also a very useful tool for intuition. I’m so glad I have one!
